A bored Friday many years ago, sat at my desk wiling away the hours at GSK, Matt, Girling & Krusty suggested we blatantly plagarise somebody else's idea (always the best i think).
Fashion Friday was born.
Actually that's not true. Fashion Friday was reborn - having been stolen from BCL, but still, it was almost as momentus as the original renaissance - just for the digital age.
Starting out as a private joke between a few buddies, it sought to reward fine fashion (or is that humiliate people for wearing trendy clothes?).
Its popularity started to grow and amazingly people seemed to like being publicly humiliated infront of their mates. In fact, it seemed that it was being generally encouraged. Our HR director even thought that it was good for morale!
Could this really be? Instead of working on a Friday, i just sit at my desk, write an abusive email, send it round lots of people and the general consensus if that this is a good thing.
I was sold.
But here we are, 14 months of nothing later and it is a beautiful new dawn. It seems that FF thinks it has more lives than a cat because coming back for its 3rd life, we are now going global baby.
You should all know the rules. If you don't - you will learn the hard way. But i will leave you with one piece of advice.
You are never safe...
